My 2 big bunnies are doing fine again. I took away the Herb tunnel, and
it must've been the reason that one of the buns had the runny poop. I
haven't had any problems with them since I took it away from them. So,
thanks for all your help. ~~Donna in Lehighton, PA~~

Thank you, Brandy. I can't give my bunnies a hug because of my bad
health. I got them from the shelter and they didn't like being touched
whenI got them. Both of them have gotten a little bit better about
touching them now. I can pet them on their head and pet down over their
back. But, one of them loves to head butt my hand away or try to bite
it. They are very comical bunnies, though. They're so big and they try
to do a binky and they're almost to big to do them. I've sat and laughed
at them a bunch of times. They love to lay down next to each other, with
their heads against each other. I pet both of their heads at the same
time, when they're lying down like that. LOL !! I really love my
beautiful bunnies. ~~Donna~~

Hi

When we got Panda and Little H they were pretty wild too. But they never
tried to bite. I started grooming them twice daily to get them used to being
handled and soon they were tame enough to be more than just petted. Also
having long hair at their manes they needed to be groomed. I can remember,
in the beginning, having to put a sock over Panda's head when doing
unmentionable things like cleaning her bottom or nail trimming but she got
used to it as not being a threat.

Eventually they both trusted us so that would do anything with them. They
were pretty much bomb proof at that stage.

Thanks, Nona. Now that i took their Herb Tunnel away from them, they're
eating allot of cardboard. I read in the group that cardboard doesn't
harm them. But, they sure eat allot of it. LOL !! The cardboard must
have calories in it because they look like they're getting fatter. LOL
!! They're also chewing on their wooden box more now. Take care.

Cardboard has never hurt any of my bunnies, Donna. Mine like it, too.
Come to think of it, mine are a little on the plump side as well. Hmmm!!!

The word should not be an issue either as long as it is untreated.

Are they eating lots of hay Donna?
Do they actually eat all the cardboard? I think Cocoa mostly tore it apart
more than ate it. It doesn't hurt them, it is wood afterall...lol

My bunnies are "chew happy." LOL !! The only time they're not chewing
on something is when they're resting or grooming each other. They chew a
little bit on their wood box. Paul is going to put a piece of the
leftover wood from their box inside their fence. I wouldn't say they eat
allot of cardboard. Their bellies are so big. When they lay down their
bellies spread out on the floor. LOL !! They like their Oxbow hay and
their Purina pellets from the harware store. They put their heads under
each others head to be groomed. But, they will do it a few times until
one of them finally grooms the other one. Another thing they love to do
is lay tight against each other, even if they're between the fence and
their box. It doesn't matter to them if there isn't enough room because
the second bunny will just plop down in the tight place. Talk about
closeness. LOL !! I hope everyone that comes in this group, saw the
pictures of my bunnies that Richard Rudd posted for me. They are
beautiful big bunnies. Richard and his wife are good friends of mine
now. We exchanged Christmas gifts, too. I also found out that Roni lives
only a half hour away from me, and I hope to meet her one day. Have a
nice day. ~~Donna~~
