Jump knows I wear shoes. He knows they're not my feet! He knows they
cover my feet. When Jump wants my attention, he will bite my shoes and
pull them real hard. When I'm barefoot, Jump knows those are my tender
feet. He would never bite my feet. When I'm barefoot and wants my
attention, he rubs his whiskers against my ankles.

Well I've told you one thing that one of my rabbits knows. Now you tell
me one thing that one of your rabbits knows.

Their names when I call them. The rustle of sacks when I bring the
groceries in. When I open the refrigerator door, they both come out
and look expectantly at me! When Jodie has made a mess, he runs for
the hills when I say Jodie Boy! When I say I love them, they both melt
for pets. Carla Liza and Jodie.

Hi

Panda knows when she has a mucky bum and acts all coy. She is very hangdog
when being taken to the bathroom for a wash/cleanup. But she is always
grateful.

In the evenings she is quite a cuddle bun until Little H puts in an
appearance when she's all alert. We don't have to look out for Little H she
does it all for us.

Ralphable seemed to know everything. I remember him watching the 2000
election, and he seemed to know that when California came up blue that
Bush lost the state.

All my rabbits knew their own names, each others' names, when they
were being bad (intentional or not), and various other things.

One day, I took Ralphable with me to my mother's house. We let him
play on the kitchen counter. I told him, "don't go past here and
here" - and after 20 minutes of exploring, he did NOT pass the
boundaries I set. (We then took him to another area of the house.)

Both Donna and Twixi knew when their time was up just before they
passed on. Ralphable might have known too, but he wasn't willing to
give in. Robert got too sick for me to tell. Lucy didn't want to
give in either. Marcy was the only one I wasn't certain of. She died
from an operable condition 4 hours before the operation was scheduled,
but the day before, she knew that she could be fixed, so I don't know
if she realized it was her time.

Dylan knows how to ask when he wants to go outside. He will run round our
feet, at the old house he would run into the living room and then the
kitchen where he would sit on the computer chair by the door. He also used
to scratch at the door to be let back in, he no longer has to scratch
because this house has a glass door and we can see him. he will also stand
up on his back legs looking at the drawer which contains his treats, to let
us know it's time for treats.
Zebedee & Molko both know when it's time to return to their cage. if we are
in the garden with them they ignore us but when we tell them "cage" they go
back home.

I miss your Ralphable stories. I have reliable reports that he is the
news maven at the Bridge and was a keen analyst of this last election
with many witty comments. He was in the honor guard for Tim Russert
but had to mobilize very quickly as noone expected him at the hoomin
bridge so soon :-(.

It's louise, she gives the cue to the rest of the bunch of what to
expect. She knows for a fact that when she hears the first bit of
noise in the morning, she gets carrots. The rest of the bunch go
nuts, after she goes starts acting up.

I think he knows he's trained her. LOL
You know with rabbits it's always give-and-take situation.
You give, and they take. LOL

Dylan proved this morning he too knows about clothes.
When I pet his nose he melts into the carpet, I stop and put my fingers on
the floor in front of him, he licks my fingers then pushes his nose under
them for me to stroke him again. This morning I had long sleeves which he
picked up and tossed over his head instead of the usual nudge to my hand.

Our rabbits know the time. When it is 8 am they come to the door of
their room and wait for me to give them breakfast. They also know
when it's time for dinner - 9 pm they will wait in the door of their
room or come and get me in the den. When I walk into the kitchen at 10
they come to the gate and stand up waiting for their papaya tablet
(only at 10 pm, not earlier!)
They know that when I go to the garage I'm going to bring them hay and
they race to the door to see when I'm coming in.
They know their names, but usually won't come when called, but if they
are both out and I call "Roxie no!" she'll look up and Biscuit will
ignore me.
They know how to train me to do exactly what they want when they want
it!
