Does anyone know of a way to stop my pet rabbits from digging tunnels in my
backyard? We have two rabbits and every now and then one of them will start
a tunnel and then out come the hard hats...time to dig to china. I was
thinking that if I could find the intial hole they start I could put
something in it that rabbits really hate and this will deter them from more
digging in that particular hole. Over time I'm hoping this will help
prevent further digging. Even if it does not prevent future holes at least
I can stop them from their current trenching activities.

Any other ideas? Anyone know what rabbits really hate? Please just respond
to this post as my address is fake.

What kind of rabbits are they? Must not be cottontails or their relatives,
since they don't tunnel. I'm curious.

designate a playing area.

fence it off.

then lay down chicken wire in
the playing area.

Were you here when Arlette's Brownie dug his tunnel in their garage? She
posted pics of it on her website at one point and ohmigosh, did that rabbit
DIG! It was a HUGE hole!

Give them some shoes, the little blighters will find it a bit more difficult
to dig when wearing some old size 9s.
