Milton was peacefully euthanized at home 9/7/10 after camping with
Rich for the last time. He had a tumor behind his eye, he was loosing
weight, was having labored breathing, and he could no longer keep
himself up-right. I had him for a very long time, and i know alot of
you have met him. But he's at the bridge now with all of our other
beloved rabbits that have passed.

We are sorry that Milton's time had come to cross The Bridge, but with
camping with him this past week I completely understand. He did get to
enjoy his last camping trip with all its extra snacks and treats. I'm sure
all the previous camping buddies, including Mr. Patches, Poofie and Rufus
were at The Bridge to greet him. He was a good camping bunny who will be
remembered. We will light our special candle tonight in his remembrance.
We will also remember Ling in our prayers that she is doing as best as can
be.
Rest in Peace Milton.

I'm so sorry, Ronie. I heard that I ~just~ missed seeing you on your
way to your camping trip. Please know that Clay and I join you in
your sorrow - give Ling a gentle kiss for me.
Hugs to you,

Ronie,
Milton had a lovely life with you and Ling, camping, hanging out, and
being cared for by one of the most knowledgeable bun moms in the world.
I admire your courage in letting him go to the Bridge when his quality
of life was no longer worthwhile.
He was a darling, darling bun, and he and Ling were one of the cutest
couples ever.
Goodbye sweet bun. Until we meet again.

Hi Ronnie. I'm sorry you lost your Milton. Most of the original
rabbits that were here when I first came to APR are gone. All were
loved. I was so happy with my rabbit, I felt we would all live
forever. Sadly reality rules I'm sorry you lost Milton.

One last thing......
i posted ling and milton's last camping trip on my facebook - Titled
Summer 2010 and Milton RIP. if you are not a part of facebook, do it
just for the pics. i have one pic of her laying next to milton after
he passed - it's so adorable - she's trying to reach peace by laying
next to him, chin down, and just touching him for the last time
They are amazing creatures that will never cease to amaze me. God
Speed my little man - love you forever!

Hi
Thanks for the link. It always means more when they are available when we're
so far away that we can never meet personally.
He looked like a very laid back bunny and obviously had a wonderful life.
We've never travelled with Little H - except to the vets :-(. What are the
things to look out for?
