Dear folks;

I posted this on PetBunny but in case some of you might not belong to that
list, here it is. I called the vet's office this morning about antibiotics.
A different receptionist from the one who works on Monday took my number.
She called me right back once she spoke to the vet and said he didn't think
antibiotics were necessary. I'll watch Mark and note any changes for the
worse.

I also smelled a little of that bad smell on Mark's Face this morning when I
sprayed the Veterinus DermaGel medication on his wound. I've never had a
bunny with an abscess before. What should I watch out for? Are there any
telltale smells I should be aware of?

Sincerely,

Hi

Any bad smell indicates trouble so "action this day" as Churchill would and
did say.

I'm with Beth. If you have an infection you need to give him baytril.
Wish I could send you to a different veterinarian. I particularly don't
like the idea that he still has the smell, that should be gone.
